The Hydrangea was one of the final flowers to bloom on my route to school. I know this is a’marmite’ flower — you either love it or despise it – but I like it. Colorful blossoms that seem like enormous balls of petals. All packed together on large bushes, creating a massive mass of color that fills the eyes with beauty. I’m not sure I enjoy the aroma all that much – but that’s another story… Anyway, there are other colors and varieties available, though I suppose most of us assume it comes in a pinky/red, blue, or even white/cream. I prefer the delicate purples and the brightest pinks.
